When I'm not hanging on to a rockface... 

I live in Oxford, where I pursue a PhD in psycholinguistic and work as the Chief Technology Officer at TextureAI. My research looks into the effects that speaking different languages have on human cognition and decision making, particularly decision making about the future. In other words, I think that the words we choose and the language we speak shapes us, and I'm testing that idea, scientifically. In my work with TextureAI, I am currently building an Innovate UK funded communication system which will help governments reach people who are most at risk or contracting COVID-19. Our plan is to use social media to help people life healthier lives.
